Optimist Drawing
Our Optimist Drawing held April 20, 2010 raises funds for our other
service projects. Members sell drawing tickets for $10.00 each, and lucky
drawing
winners share cash prizes of up to $1000.00.
Glenview Summer Festival
The annual Glenview Summer Festival, sponsored by the
Glenview Chamber of Commerce, provides another opportunity for our club. Held in
June, we sponsor children's games along with spreading the word about the
benefits of Optimism.
Optimist Club of Glenview And Glenview
Park Districts 2010 Golf Outing Benefiting Glenview Youth Services
The Optimist Club of Glenview and the Glenview Park District have joined
forces to sponsor a golf outing on Wednesday, June 9, to benefit Glenview Youth
Services. Details are still in the works, but here are some of the highlights:
Child Cancer Campaign Program
The child cancer campaign fundraiser will
be
held on Saturday October 9, 2010 at White Eagle Banquet Hall in Niles. The night
will consisted of dinner, drawings and live entertainment.
