Youth Services is a social service agency serving young people and their families. Their primary service area is Glenview, Northbrook and all of Northfield Township. However, because of some of our unique programs we have clients from all over the Chicago Metropolitan area. They offer a wide range of services including both prevention and intervention programming. Programs and services include counseling, social skills groups, crisis intervention, parent support groups for parents of bipolar children, as well as a sibling support group. Their services often use recreation at a therapeutic tool. So they mix fun with traditional services and create an atmosphere that is very kid friendly.

Their mission: Youth Services is devoted to the mental health, character development and physical well-being of children and families.

Their Goals Are:

1. To help young people realize that they make choices that impact the quality of their lives.
2. They cannot always control what happens to them but they can control how they react to the
   problems they face.

They achieve these goals by teaching social, problem solving, decision making, and through self-esteem.
